Placements and Internships
- TCS, Accenture, Microsoft, Byjus etc which hire from all streams.
- Average salary figure revolves around INR 3-4 Lakhs, Highest salary figure has been INR 13 Lakhs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are no hostels provided by the University.
- There are lots of PGs available around University. There shouldn't be any problem in finding one. The cost of PG in average around INR 5000/-.
- The College has its own canteen which provides all kinds of fast food and the food is fresh. INR 100 would be just fine to kill the hunger.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- One has to be high school (10+2/Class 12), graduate.
- I've given WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) to get into the university.
- The cut off percentage is 75% to get into the university.
Academics and Faculty
- University runs 5 days a week and two days off, either Sat-Sun or Sun-Mon, depending on the batch you are in. Timings depend on the strength of that batch. After every semester students are given the opportunity to present their projects from the given number topics. Marks are awarded on the basis of the project's innovation and creativity to develop entrepreneur skills.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee is FLEXIBLE and tends to change during new admissions.
- There are no scholarships in particular, but the student can claim for one if he/she performs very well in the academics or involved in a research.
- No number in particular.
- Getting a loan is a choice. The loans are available easily at the college campus from Punjab National Bank which is within the university campus
Clubs and Associations
- University has a Rotaract club, technical club/society, cultural club, literature club, sports club, etc.
- Students organize annual cultural, a technical, management, biotechnical and annual sports festival in a very good manner.
- In general, life in college is what one could expect. The atmosphere is cozy and students tend to be active. Inviting and friendly environment.

Placements & Internships : Techno India University offers 100% placements and it does live up to its promise. They provide you with a wide range of training and internship programs. Because it is the most popular chain of colleges and universities in West Bengal, it has great networks. The University may be new but the colleges are pretty old. Techno India Group was one of the first-ever private colleges to open in Kolkata. The Alumni network is huge. Sometimes the college hires Alumni to train and influence the students. Many companies including startups come to hire students. Some of the key companies that come are TCS, Accenture, Microsoft, Byjus, Indian Navy, Tata Steel etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility - An applicant wishing to apply for Techno India University must have passed their secondary board with at least 75%.If the applicant is looking forward to pursuing engineering, it is suggested that they appear for a joint examination such as WBJEE, JEE etc. An internal examination is held to ensure quality and credentials of the applicants.
