Shivangi Jain's Review on Techno India University

As a college student, I've been a part of four internships, First of which is Adore India. My job profile was of a mentor. Its stipend was INR 2000. The second was with international Centre for Culture and Education. The other two internships were with my own University. I was working as a sales executive for two of the startups under our college Incubation center, Technopreneurs Surrogate Venture. Their stipend was INR 5000 per month.

Companies of various fields recruit students from Techno India University. Starting from big MNCs to Growing Companies. Some of which include, Tata Service Center (TCS) hire students mainly from CSE for IT. Others are Byjus, Accenture, Microsoft, Cognizant etc.

Average salary package is INR 8 lakhs, highest of which varies from INR 10-INR 12 lakhs annually. From CSE an average of 72% gets placed on campus.

Techno India University has a very strong alumni network which can be seen during the various fests organized every year.

Techno India University is located in the hearts of Salt Lake, Kolkata. Though the University is still to come up with its own hostel, the surrounding areas have an endless number of PG and hostel settlements. It is relatively very safe and affordable. the prices range from 4 thousand to 10 thousand for both PG and Hostel. 

• Eligibility   - An applicant wishing to apply for Techno India University must have passed their secondary board with at least 75%.If the applicant is looking forward to pursuing engineering, it is suggested that they appear for a joint examination such as WBJEE, JEE etc. An internal examination is held to ensure quality and credentials of the applicants.

We have a maximum of 6 hours of classes. Timing varies from batch to batch. Almost every branch has a morning batch and an evening batch.

Techno India University has multiple labs for every branch as well as smart classes on every floor. The University has highly qualified teachers who incorporate smart teaching sessions every now and then. VR and AR lab has recently been introduced in the college. Teachers focus a lot on the innovations and encourage new ideas and projects to be undertaken. The university also releases research papers written by students on a regular basis giving them credibility and recognition.

Our course fee is INR 79000 per semester.

As of now, Students with good marks are given recognition but scholarship facility is yet to be introduced.

Loans can be taken on an individual level from banks which avail student loans.

• Like every college, Techno India University has a very active student body.The student society includes the Debating Society, Cultural Group, Scientific Society, Sports Union etc. International Clubs like Rotaract Club also function very efficiently in the University.
