  • At MIT Manipal the curriculum includes the all-round development of a student. The academic year is divided into 2 semesters i.e Odd Semester and Even Semester. The marking system includes the cumulative grade point average (CGPA). The system is divided in such a way that nobody is stressed out at the end of the day yet it is effective and has a long lasting impact on the students. CGPA is just a number and more emphasis is laid on how well a person can apply whatever they learn. Therefore academics wise MIT Manipal can be rated very much satisfactory.
  • The another thing which should be noted here is that the system at MIT works only on the basis of merit, unlike other private engineering colleges.
  • The faculty is high qualified and the quality and method of teaching are good in their subjects. I\'d be lying to you if I said that we have the best faculty. But at the end of the day faculty is not the ...

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech], batch of 2018 7/10
  • Quite logically this is not an IIT and hence I cannot say that this is the best engineering institute in the country and to be honest, MIT-Manipal was not and still isn\'t anybody\'s first preference as the college to be, be it private or government. Nonetheless, the students here aren\'t any less competitive than students from an IIT. Here students have a holistic and an all round development to become responsible individuals of the society.
  • We have two sessionals of fifteen marks each coupled with five surprise tests of four marks each which add up to fifty and which constitute the internals for each subject. Then we have the end semester examinations which consist of the other fifty. The academics is pretty much up to standard.
  • The faculty is pretty sincere as well. Being a private institution, the teachers and professors are always under the scanner and hence the high level of teaching. All the...

Master of Business Administration [MBA], batch of 2016 8/10
  • Academics is very good. The course content is very effective and relevant. The method is the case and practical exposure based so as to prepare the students to face industry effectively. The faculty is very good with very good background and industry experience. Regular interactions with people from the industry are also held so as to give students a real flavor of what is the latest happenings.
  • International exposure is provided to the student. All the expenses of this are borne by the college and students are not required to pay anything. Also, the college has a tie up with good colleges for an exchange program where every year 10 to 12 students are sent to spend a term there. However, the expenses of this program are borne by the students.
  • The infrastructure is world class with large spacious classrooms having AC, WiFi, and desktops for all students. Lib...
