Suraj Sahani's Review on Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology

I have done internship at Pawan Hans Limited - PSE miniratna at Safdarjang Airport and Rohini Heliport, New Delhi. I also have done my project there. There is regular placement in IT sector. Mega company like IBM, Wipro ,Tech mahindra visit usually. The placement in other branches in core companies is not so good. Mu Sigma statics analytics visits there. In aeronautical engineering only company which give Placement is Quest Global.

There are 8 hostels 6 for boys and 2 for girls. Hostel fee is 80 k fir 4 in 1. 3 in 1 and and 2 in 1 and Ac availabled rooms are also there. One can get PG easily at cheap rates at nearby places. Hostel and Campus is fully Wi Fi enabled. Labs are well equiped. There are seperate Libraries for each schools of engineering. Books are in abundant amount. Various monthly magazine, newspapers are also available in Library. College have also its digital Library. Annapurni dinning hall is very good for eating various foods. A lot of shops and cafes are situated in the campus.

The eligibility criteria for admission in b.tech aeronautical engineering is - Candidate Must have passed class XIIth with pcm with aggregate of 55%. He/She should appear in VTUEEE and should clear the cuttoff. And after that candidate should attend the Single Window Councelling to fix the seat.

Class time is from morning 8:45 to 4:00 pm. Teachers help students at every stage while doing projects. Only formal are allowed in campus no jeans, no tshirts, no sleepers. Methodologies of teaching are of international standard.

My yearly fee was 1.20 lakh and ₹ 80000 hostel fee. There is also Mahatma gandhi scholarship which gives full fee waiver for academic and hostel too. Students can easily avail loan from Vijaya Bank.

There are various arts and technical club in the campus students can join any club of their choice. for e.g. Foreign Language Club, Dance Club, Drama Club, Aerospace Club, Automobile Club, Gaming Club, NCC, NSS, Karate club. Sports meets and inter university championship for various sports like Table Tennis, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Cricket, Football is organised in college on regular basis. College also sends students to participate in other college to students.
