Placement department is busy throughout the year making sure the right talent pool gets picked up and equal opportunities is provided for everyone. Their range of contacts include from top IT company's to startup's. Since Bangalore being India's startup hub. The mass recruitment happens with a salary range from Rs. 3 lakh and above, while new gen companies such as Amazon and Flipkart come with a package of Rs. 10lakh and above. You will surely be placed if you give it a good try in this college.

The college owns 3-4 hostel buildings. Separate for boys and girls. I have never lived in them because I was a day's scholar but from my friends who have lived there. You can rest be assured that you'll have a wonderful time making new friends and new memories. Multiple flats and PG's can also be found nearby where you can stay at a cheaper price. Overall infrastructure of the college is extremely good. The college is NBA certified and NAAC accredited with A grades.

MSRIT generally demands a higher cutoff. I joined this college and course by writing KCET which is a demanding exam where you are required to finish 60 questions in 60 minutes of multiple choice answers. I joined this course in 2013, then it was a cut off of 9k rank and I was just well within that rank

Since I joined through government quota I was paying around Rs. 50,000 rupees per year. But the same course if you come through private exams such as COMEDK the seat is priced around Rs. 1.5L plus. Yes, scholarships are available and you can avail it under strict scrutiny by the Accounts Section. Loans may be required if you come through private exams and donation. And yes banks will avail it for you easily. They have a bank on Campus, Vijaya Bank where you can get the loan easily.

There are clubs ranging from entrepreneurship to photography. Debate society also known as DebSoc helps you improve your overall debating skills as well. Dance and Singing clubs help you express yourself. The main college fest UDBHAV happens once a year around March and the only college I believe celebrates so grandly in the month November the Rajyostava Festival. Other than these two. Entrepreneurship weeks are conducted. TED talks are also happening. Each department also conducts its fest both technical and entertainment covered. You can guarantee yourself and jam-packed happy college life in this college. The atmosphere is so enticing for you talk to so many wonderful people and their talents. So that you can figure yourself out as well
