Placements and Internships
Placements: In terms of placements UPES is quite good. University has various industrial links. As UPES has a industry focused teaching style. As it comes to fire and safety engineering it is one of the best college for this stream. Placements are very nice in fire and safety engineering due to limited colleges. So if you want fire and safety engineering then this is a very nice option on which you can lie upon. But for other branches also you can get nice placements. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, L&T, Crompton, Schlumberger, Accenture, Wipro etc visits here. Alumni network is excellent there are events in college for Alumni to maintain relation and a good network.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria is 75%+ marks in physics, chemistry and maths in 12th class, admission through UPES-EAT and though JEE mains score between 90-360. I have given UPES-EAT examination to get admission. To get admission in Btech stream a candidate must get rank under 5000. The institute provide various specialisation in computer science stream.
Fees and Scholarships
There is a scholarship for the meritorious students over here. The average fees per year is INR-3 Lakh of computer science engineering. In each batch it depends on students marks if their performance is outstanding the college provide them scholarships. Yes,loan is needed sometimes and it is easily available banks like SBI, ICICI,PNB they provide loans for needed candidates.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for UPES is minimum 60% marks in CBSE boards. Also, admission is taken through UPESEAT exam too. I took the UPESEAT exam to get into the University. For my course cutoff is approx 9000 rank. This is because the University is having domain specific computer science branches due to which seats get increased.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Through entrance exam or board merit/JEE Main scores. 80% of the seats are reserved for those who are allotted on the basis of entrance examination and the remaining 20% will be through board merit or JEE Main scores. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2018 should be checked by the candidates before filling the application form. The candidates should have secured at least 60% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (10th and 12th). Should have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th). Non-Exam Pathway (up to 20% Seat Distribution) Board Merit: The candidates should have secured minimum 80% marks in 10th and 80% in 12th standard (or equivalent examination) in PCM. An aggregate to 80% should also have scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary Level (12th standard).
