The college makes many internship from the companies .Every year nearly 20 companies will come for internship/placement and that the major companies will be insurance agencies or companies outside of chennai. Every year the alumni meeting will be comducted and the college will sponsor for the meeting

There are separate hostel for boys and girls . And the hostel fee is around 5k per month including food and all essentials.the fool in the college is really good. And for the day scholar the cost of food is from 40 rs to 80rs. The quality of classroom is good. labs and libraries are really good And the infrastructure is really awesome

There are no entrance exams for DMI college if engineering. The cut off needed to join in this college is around 140 . HSC or diploma are tha eligibility criteria for joining DMI college of engineering

The college starts from 8 am and ends on 3 30 pm. There will be 2 internal and a model exam per semester . And coaching classes will be there for slow learners . The quality of teaching is good.

The fee the course per year is around 75k. And there are lots and lots of scholarship available for the students. Scholarship like first graduate .higher cut off .SC candidate and so on. 10 out of 25 will get the scholarship.if some one needed educational loan its simple the college will give a bonafide and you will have give it to the Bank

NSS is the only club in DMI college of engineering.every year the college conducts symposium, cultural , sports meet , scientific exhibition . The life in college is just another 4 years of school life.
