Placements and Internships
I did my internship in cognizant pro solutions in Chennai for 20 days.Don't expect the stipend because you are the currently graduating.
IT companies play the major role in hiring and we can expect some marketing and core companies but not too many.
Average pay scale will be 4lak per annum and the highest will be 33lak per annum minimum 75% 0f the bach will get placed every year.It is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 20 hostels in the college both for the boys and the girls.The hostel fee will be 1lakh per annum.
Some pgs are available outside the college surroundings with the cost of 6500 per month.
The food in the college is good and both the north Indian and the south Indian food is available.
The quality of the classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls is very good with nice infrastructure.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The minimum eligibility criteria are 75% in 12 standards.
And you must qualify SRMJEE written exam with minimum marks based on that year cutoff.
The cutoff marks will vary year to year based on the strength of the people who attempt the exam.
Academics and Faculty
For the first year, you have to attend the classes from 9 am to 4 pm and you will have a 10min interval in between and lunch break at 12:30 pm. And Per semester you have to write 2 cycle tests, one model exam, and final sem exams. compare to the other college you will have more free time here and the assignments assigned to you also will be a few. The quality of the teaching will be good and the method of the teaching will be practical oriented.The overall experience of the college will be good with the nice environment.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fee per year is 2.5lak per annum.Yes, the scholarship option is available.Two to three percent of the total people will get scholarships. Yes, the loans are available by the college bank by submitting the required documents they need.
Clubs and Associations
There are student societies for each and every branch and we have some cultural clubs and some associations on the campus.
The main fests on the college were the ARRUSH the tech fest, MILAN the cultural fest.
The life in the college was good with some entrainment throughout your course.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 60% of the intermediate score is the major eligibility criteria. The only entrance exam for admission in this college is SRMJEE. around 220marks are must to get qualified in SRMJEE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility criteria to join SRMIST is you must have at least scored 65% aggregate in PCM in your 12th class. Secondly, you have to write the entrance exam conducted by SRM known as SRMJEEE. The cutoff marks cannot be predicted. However, if you get the counselling call letter and your rank falls in top 50%ile of the total students called then there are healthy chances that you'll get any desired branch.
