Subhash Varma's Review on Andhra University College of Engineering for Women, [AUCEW] Vishakhapatnam

• I did my internship from Hindustan Shipyard Limited with no stipend.
• The key companies who hire from our college are Infosys,IBM, Wipro, L&T, Factset. Mostly IT companies come for recruiting us.
• Average salary is around Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum for all the above companies except L&T and Factset. The 70% students are mostly placed.
• The college had been started in 2010 so the alumini network is not that great but the limited alumini regulary visit the colleges for its functions and other official meetings when called for.

• My course fee was Rs 31000 per year
• Yes scholarship and reimbursements are available for students
• In a class of 60 students around 35 students get scholarship from Government
• No need of applying ...

• Every year, we have college technical and cultural fests.
• There are a lot of student societies and organisations in which students can take an active part.

• Hostel in AUCEW has been recently started and the exact fee is not known.
• Our classrooms are spacious and labs are in good condition.WiFI is also available.
• Our college library is one of the biggest libraries in the city.

• College timings for AUCEW are from 9am-3:10pm and for every semester we have one assignment, 2 internals for each subject.The projects will be assigned in the final year.Our professors are excellent and are always available to clear our doubts.
• Our campus is ragging free and it is strictly prohibited and senior-junior interaction goes very well and they help us in various aspects.

AP EAMCET is the required entrance test for the admission and the rank in AP EAMCET should be below 30000.

I have done my internship in BSNL telecommunications on Optical fiber cables. Many IT companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. visit our campus for the placements. The average salary ranges from INR 3 to 4.5 lakhs per annum.

College fee is INR 35000 per annum.

College timings will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Projects will be assigned to the students in their final semester. The faculties will be very cooperative. I feel lucky enough to be a graduate of Andhra University.

I don\'t have any idea about hostels, food and all. But speaking about laboratories and libraries, we have the good library and laboratories in the college.
