There are a few internships that are usually offered officially. But there is a body of a student who works for the students regarding the internships. A whole 3 days event takes place where the new and old company, Starting from startups to mnc's come and hire students. There is no restriction on the type of work you want to do. Starting for marking to sales, security and safety on Internet, etc. You name it and you have it. Regarding the placements, it's usually a very good response to a 95% placement scenario this year itself. Renowned companies like Deloitte, accenture, bosch, mindtree, Microsoft, tesla etc come in with a good starter package. The avg salary would be 3.5 p. A. The higher has been 35 p. A.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The best you can get.It's the only thing I can say. The cost is very less. The rooms are huge. With great beds and chairs and tables. Everything is provided. Even for the convenience inductions are installed floor wise.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Like any other engineering private colleges KIIT has, it's own entrance examination known as kIITEE. Also, one can apply through jee mains too. The 30% seats are reserved for women. So for Girls, it is a great opportunity. Also, the other reservations are quite less. To qualify you got to gain a certain rank amongst all. I guess the max ranks go to 25k but as the number of branches has increased in these 2 years so has the ranks. And there is no such issue as the cutoff.
Academics and Faculty
Regarding this, kiit is the best. Classes are organised very accurately. And the teachers are well trained. The classes are even very well equipped.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is 1,10,000 per semester. And yes scholarships are available on different grounds. The avg number would be around 30 per batch. Maybe more. If you only consider the engineering students. It's easy to pay the bills coz the mess and the hostel charges are very less i.e. 3.4k per month approximately
Clubs and Associations
College life in general is awesome. Name an extra circular and you have it. Tedx mun e-cell art drama dance photography hacking sports ncc nss etc etc. And kiitfest is one of the most popular fest in bhubaneswar. Top celebrities.
