Placements and Internships

2.5

Well sadly it is something which our college lacks. I can't comment about other courses but as far as my course is concerned I never came across any sort of internship or stipend facilities. There are some rumours about campus placements taking place but I personally have never encountered any such things. Well I have never seen any sort of Alumni network at all.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

Well this can be something to be proud of if you are studying in this college. There are around 10-15 hostels with each hostel having atleast 70 rooms. The hostel fees is around INR 6000 per annum which is quite affordable. Outside options do exist near the college and some of them are actually quite economic. Food in the college is tasty and hygenic. One meal will not cost you more than      INR 30-50. Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries and other infrastructure is commendable. However Wifi is something which requires a lot of improvement.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Eligibility criteria for the admission for my course was 12th pass. There were no entrance examination and  were no  cutoffs. The admission was based on the percentage of 12th Board and students with higher percentage were granted the admission first.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Well academics are good. Classes are held daily with professors being regular. Professors are skilled and knowledgeable. Practicals are scheduled at regular intervals. Overall experience in the college was better than expected.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

Well this is something in which our college excells. I don't know about other course but the fees for my course is INR 8500 per year. Although there are two divisions. The another one is the higher payment division which has a fees of about INR 50,000 which is quite a lot. I have heard about scholarships for students whose parents earn a bit low, students with a certain percentage in 12th boards and some scholarships based on caste as well. Can't comment about loans because been a part of it.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are mainly two student associations in our faculty. Almost all the major festivals including faculty fest and university fest are celebrated with enthusiasm. In general college life is pretty awesome.
