Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Ashok Leyland are regularly visiting for campus placement. Companies like Hike, Amazon, Mahindra, TATA also visited. Average salary figures are about 3 lakh. Highest salary 23 lakh to 3-4 students. About 70% of students get placement through campus placement. Alumni have now made a better network that helps students to know more about the demand in the company.

There are 4 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The hostel fees changes every year , about 95000 is for 10 months. PGs are also available to students at 3000/month. Hostel food is good,there are different menu for different day. Classrooms,Labs, Library is in better structure. Wi-Fi is also provide to each and every student.

The student must score minimum 60 marks in IIT JEE MAIN Paper. If the students have not given the IITjee main then minimum 60% marks in 12th board exam are necessary.

Class timings is 9 A.M. - 4 P.M. Exam is taken twice a semester as 1 mid term test and 1 end term test. Project is given to 3rd year student and 4th year student. Assignment is regularly given to students. Teacher are well educated in their respected domain.They use projector and white board to explain it to students. Overall experience is good.

Course fee at Dehradun Institute of Technology, [DIT] Dehradun is about INR 1 lakh per semester. The scholarship is available to the students who passed the IIT JEE main cut off, and who is a local student of that place. The scholarship is also provided to the branch topper. About 100 students get a scholarship. Yes, a loan is needed to those who cannot afford the fee.

There are different societies and club for different branch like AISCE,CSI,PDC,IEEE,DIT MOTO, Literary club.. etc. Sport fest - Sphurti, Cultural fest - Youthopia. Life in college is good .
