Yash Mini's Review on SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus- Chennai

I'm currently studying in my first year and haven't done my internship yet. And the candidates have to wear h for their own firms to do internship in. The companies that usually come here for placement are mostly marketing and finance based. HR based companies are super rare.

Candidates can apply for the course via the college website and have to either take up counselling or attend the SRMJEE examination. I had taken the SMRJEE test and it was moderate to hard level. The eligibility criteria is 60% in your UG with no standing arrears. Based on your UG academic history, you might be eligible for a scholarship, which the management will decide.

Class timing are from 8 to 3.40 in the noon, which s exactly your school timing. And if you have plans for doing any part time jobs simultaneously, then it's gonna be a nightmare. The quality of the syllabus is good because they keep vajnging the syllabus with accordance to the industry standards. But the faculty suck except for finance. Over all experience I would say is super average when compared to my UG because it's more academic oriented.

The fees is around 5L average which doesn't include exam fees. So it's around 2.5L yearly. And SRM has three campuses in Chennai and all the campuses charge different fees. I had taken a loan to study from PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK and it got approved in 3 weeks. The other banks that offer loans are SBI and Indian Bank. But the procedure is super long and loan amount sanctioned is less.

The college has Rotaract club, NCC and NSS and a number of clubs are available. Ljke litrary ckub, finance club ans marketing club and a new club called reaearch stydy ckub has been introduced recently. Symposiums, culturals and sporta event take place. The cultural event in ramapuram campus is called STRINGZ and rhe management event is called QUEST. The best event happens in KTR campus and is called MILAN, which happen for a week and has variety of unbelievable events including DJ night and in 2018 DJ Nucleya from Sunburn fame had come in.
