After B.Tech, approx 40% of a batch gets placed with an average salary of Rs. 20,000. Alumni network is good.

10 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels are there. There is no extra hostel fee. Mess fee is Rs.2300 per month. PG option is available nearby. Mess food is average. Classrooms, labs, libraries all are good. Wifi speed is very good.

For taking admission in diploma in SLIET college, one must have completed his/her 10th in any board (central or state board). A test is held called SET(SLIET entrance test) and the candidate must get good AIR in that test to get admission in college. There are no cutoff marks. Its all about your AIR.

Daily class time is 8:30 am to 4:30 pm from Mon-Fri. 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm is the lunch break. Saturday and Sunday are non-working days. Assignments are given regularly. 2 test and 1 final exam are held per semester. Method of teaching is average. Teachers are good. Overall we can say that college is good.

Diploma fee per year is approx Rs. 17,000. The scholarship is given to top 3 students of every branch in every batch. No loans are needed.

Many groups of students are there in college that include arts group, social work group, cultural group, etc. Main festivals are Techfest, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Sports Day, etc. Life is busy but good.
