Entrance Exams & Admissions : The course I opted for was a triple major in three respective subjects - Journalism, Psychology and English so that later I could pursue my Masters' in whichever direction suited my goals best. For entrance there was an interview in Kolkata where they asked me my interest towards the particular subjects concerned, and why I opted for Humanities when I was previously a Science student . They also wanted to know about whether I'd be comfortable migrating , and inquired me about my discplinary issues as well. There was no entrance examination, but the eligibility criteria required 70% in board exams of the 12th grade.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You need to be a 12th standard pass to be eligible for this course, and your grades need to be above a minimum of 60% (at least that was the cut off in 2012). There is no test involved, but there is an interview conducted by the faculty of your potential course. The interview is fairly typical and centers around gauging your personality, though there are a couple, of course, related questions.
