College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 8 hostels 7 for boys and 1 for girls. Food quality is good. Cost of mess is 75000 per semester. Classrooms are spacious with excellent audibility at to the last bench, labs have all equipment, WiFi facility is perfectly established and large area playground and reserved forest provides an enhanced aura of the campus
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility is through clearing Jee Mains examination held every year. The cutoff rank in SVNIT for mechanical ranges from score: 172 - 300(general score) 90 - 210(SC score) This data is as per the year 2017
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm with 2-hour break assignments are regular with continuous evaluation at every level. Quality and method of teaching are excellent. The overall experience of college in Amazing.
Fees and Scholarships
1lac is a course fee. All types of government scholarship is available along with college funds that allow students to carry research programme in different countries There are around 250 students that apply for the scholarship and around 170-180 get it every year. No requirement of loans.
Clubs and Associations
There's a lot of activities and club activities in the college to keep the students occupied apart from their leisure time. Sport is an integral part of Venetian so well established playgrounds. Festivals are celebrated in the college with lot fun that helps to students to achieve interaction with different cultures. College life in SVNIT is excellent
