Placement opportunities are endless in this university. The management brings in a plethora of companies that hire students across different disciplines. The average salary offered to engineer students is about 3.5 lac and the highest package grabbed by a student is about 22 lac. Tech giants like Microsoft come for placement here.

There are 5+ hostels with very good infrastructure and facilities. Hostel fee during my admission was INR 60000 per year and that covered food expenses too. Food is average quality, but still much better than what is normally served in other engineering colleges. Wi-fi and other facilities are provided to the students and classrooms have projectors installed to augment the teaching experience.

Great university for a wide variety of courses. Management is very friendly and helpful. They sponsor student projects and cherish innovation and creativity among the students. The admission procedure is fairly simple and open to all. There's no entrance exam as such.

Class timings are from 9-4. Quality of teaching is average and conventional methods of teaching are implemented.

The semester fee was INR 48000 at the time of my graduation. Scholarships are offered to students of Jammu domicile and from other backward classes of society.

There are several student clubs across different disciplines. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. Students have the independence of creating their own society considering a similar one doesn't exist already. Overall the college life is fun and inspiring.
