A lot of companies like Wipro, Berger Paints, Axis Bank and others seek for placements in this university. There are 90% placements overall. Alliance also boasts of a strong alumni network.
Infrastructure is one area where this college has outdone itself. The administration block and the library are amazing structures with great amenities. There are in total 6 hostels. Three for girls, which are all inside the campus. The other three for boys, of which one is off campus. Hostel fees vary according to the sharing options which can be chosen from single, double or triple sharing. There are 4 meals a day in the canteen. Classrooms and Labs are really good with great seating capacity and all equipped with projectors plus Wi-Fi all over the campus.
The eligibility criteria were to have an aggregate score of 50% in the +2 level of studies in any of the recognized education boards. Along with this clearing, the AUMAT exam conducted by the university was also required. A personal interview too was conducted to make the final selection of candidates.
We do not have a static timetable, rather we are provided with schedules for the complete semester. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester and internal exams are conducted once in the middle of the semester. We are also given assignments and projects which account for our internals. Teaching is very good and interactive. The faculty is well versed and knowledgeable in their respective areas. I would say the overall experience is one of satisfaction.
Fees are INR 6lakhs for the complete course. Scholarship options aren't many and few students get it.
As the university houses different departments, each department has there own clubs and social events. There are occasional carnivals held and other fests too. The university celebrates all festivals. Life in general in college is a great one with a balance of work and play.
