There is internship program compulsory for 4th-year students, students from 2nd and 3rd year are also able to do internships. Over 100 companies visit VIT for campus placement. Key Companies - Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra etc Average salary INR 5.00 lakh per annum, Highest - INR 27 lakhs per annum Lowest - INR 2.5 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels, separately for girls and boys. Hostels are 1km away from college campus Near upper depot. Bus stop. PGs and other options like Flats etc are available. Rent is around INR 2500 per month.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria - For B.tech - 12th science and you've to pass the state level entrance exam.. eg. MHT-CET or national level eg. JEE Typical cutoffs - For open category students is around 150 For SC, ST - 120
Academics and Faculty
Faculty members are very experienced. The professors have their own technique of teaching. Students have to compete for two modules every year. One module for each semester. Class time for morning shift is from 8 am to 2 pm. For afternoon shift class time is 12 am to 6 pm.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fees - INR 1,35,000 per annum Government Scholarships are available for students. TFWS, EBC scholarships are available. Fees to be paid only by DD.
