This course includes dealing with technology of food like inspection of the packed food materials.
I am a day scholar so I don't know about the fee structure of the hostel and we aren't allowed to go in the hostel (Aashiyana) area. Quality of some classes are good but some are average. Labs are good.
When the first cut off of Delhi university came, I saw food technology course in 4 to 5 colleges of du in which lady Irwin was one of them. The first cut off of this course was 92% and I got admission in the first cut off only. The campus of the college is well good with a lot of greenery.
The college classes start from 8.40 in the morning till 5.10 in the evening including theory classes and practicals. The practical lab is spacious and has every necessity.
The fees that I paid for the first year was INR 29,000. The fees for the PhD students were very less or 12,000 something.
It is having 3 major societies: dance society (Gitanjali), drama society ( mukhauta), fashion society (prophecy) and other minors like an eco-club, spic may, singing, NCC. The annual fest of lady Irwin college: the quintessence is held every year.
