Entrance Exams and Admissions

Institute of technological education and research (Iter) is a reputed college in Odisha .. To get admission here you need to have a first class on boards. Before admissions, you have to apply for an entrance exam SAAT. People are allowed to particular branches according to their SAAT rank.Rather than SAAT, one can apply for ITER college through Jee.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

The daily routine in iter is very strict. Class timings are from 9 A.m to 4 P.m . Projects are given by teachers at times.. Mostly students do their own projects with team work. There are two exams for each sem.. One midsem exam comprising of 30 marks.. and an endsem exam of 60 marks.. The teaching standard is above good in iter.. the teaching level is worth it with the high fees.Teachers are friendly and particular about their course. The overall experience is good. But the location of the college is a little bad .No major shopping outlets or food outlets nearby .. transportation services are good.

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

Our course fee is 1.70 lakhs per year. People who have performed well in SAAT entrance exams get scholarships. Even the ones who scored 90 plus in boards get scholarships every year in Iter. Apart from that students can appear for other scholarship options. In every branch nearly 50 people get scholarships. As the fees are high for some people applying for loans is necessary at times..college has tie-ups with some banks for easy loan options.
