Most courses in the college require the students to do a 1-2 months internship. The internship is to be done in the summer holidays. Internship done is to be related to the course and the subjects taught. Christ is known among employers to be a talent pool. Top recruiters include the big four auditing firms, investments banks like Goldman Sachs, Deshaw and IT companies such as google and facebook. Various startups also recruit from Christ. The average package offered is INR 5 lakh. Deshaw is know among students to be the employer offering highest salary and benefits. The package offered by Deshaw is usually around INR 10-11 lakh. Christ has an Alumni organisation which organizes a program every year. Notable alumni visit the college very often during various events.
There are two hostels inside the campus. Christ also has a hostel outside the college. There are lots of PGs and hostels in the nearby area and the rent is usually coming between INR 6000-12000 Christ has about 15 canteens inside the campus. A meal costs anywhere between INR 50-100 depending on the cuisine. There are two libraries inside the campus. There are the main library and a knowledge centre. The knowledge centre contains mostly academic books, computers and ample space for study. The main library or the UG library contains a wide range of different subjects.
The eligibility for admissions is determined by the performance in the entrance exam. The entrance exam consists of a quantitative and qualitative aptitude test, general knowledge assessment and a personal interview. The personal interview contains a micro presentation at the end in which the applicant will be given a list of topics from which the student will be asked to select a topic for speaking. The cut off is usually 85%-90% for CBSE students. Students who have studied in state syllabus will require a cut-off of more than 90%.
The class timing is from 9-4. UG courses have 6 semesters in total. A semester consists of three internal assessments and one end semester examination. The second internal assessment is also known as the mid-semester examination. Christ has teachers from all over the country. The teaching quality is good and all communication is in English. The college provides excellent exposure in terms of extracurricular activities and academics. Students get to interact with people all over the world because of the foreign exchange program.
The average fee is INR 60000-80000 a year. Courses like BCom(regular), science and humanities courses are the cheapest while management courses are the most expensive. Regular BBA costs over Rs.1 lakh and the amount varies according to the place in which the student has done his/her higher secondary. The fees for NRI students is generally much higher than that of a student who studied in Karnataka. Students who score above 70% in and have attendance above 85% are eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs.10,000 every year.
CSA or centre for social action is a popular student organisation inside the college as well as it's outside it. CSA involves itself in various social welfare activities throughout Karnataka. The activities include teaching students in villages, clean-up programs, recycling programs etc. Each department has their own student association for various activities and students can involve themselves in industrial visits, recreational trips etc as per decisions made by respective heads of department.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Cut-off for Bcom,B.com F&A and Bcom morning is announced after the declaration of 12th Board results. As the admission process of this course doesn't have any GD/PI, it is purely based on your 12th percentage. Last year, for CBSE board students, cut-off was 85% and for State Board- Kerela 96%, Karnataka 90%. For the Bcom Hons programme, one has to clear the Christ University Entrance Test(CUET) and then go through the interview process.
