Divyansh Saxena's Review on Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management

Placement are in boom in my college, with almost 1000 to 1100 placement offers every year. Key companies are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, VMware, Amazon, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, amdocs, TCS etc. Average salary was 3.5L and highest salary was 18L. Almost 80 percent of batch gets placed.

Infrastructure is fabulous and environment is also at peace always. All class rooms are always clean and tidy. A seperate body is maintaining the infrastructure of college i.e. cleanliness, construction etc. Food in canteen is fabulous but mess is not up to mark. Rates of printing or other stationary material is standard with respect to outside world.

Admission to my college was purely on merit list. Merit list was made on the joint score of JEE and HSSC board marks. Eligibility criteria to apply for my college was 75% and above in PCM of PCCS. Typical cutoff of my cource is under merit list no 500.

In case of academics, college is prompt in conducting lectures and events, but quality of teaching is not up to the mark. Students have to do peak self study to get grades. College is bombarded with code of conducts which has to be followed by all otherwise there are sevear punishment offered by them.

At my time course fee was 1.1L per annum, and it is gradually increasing year by year. Currently it is 1.2 or 1.3L per annum. Scholarship options are available but being in a general category its of no use. Loans are available and it can be done through ICICI bank.

With accordance to help students grow in all directions, college has opened many clubs. All clubs functions at peak and has good results at the end of academic year. College conducts various fest every year like PRATISHRUTI , technovision. It also conducts one sports event every year. Life in college is sort of balanced except at times when work load goes beyond limit.
