The mass recruiter for the University is TCS Rest, I would say that the alumni network of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is very wide. Also, the recommendations you can get from the professors for an internship and the job applications are very strong.

There are over thirteen hostels in the university. Most hostels have very glass speed WiFi with a data limit of 1Gb/day. Food is good but the rooms are very small and not really in a luxurious condition. No PG option is allowed. It is a completely residential university. All the professors and students live in the University campus. The library is very good. There is a Central Computing Facility which is air-conditioned and has very fast speed network.

The criteria and admission process for this course includes- 1. Applying through Uttarakhand Technical University counseling 2. Choosing College of Technology, Pantnagar as choice 3. Filling branch choices Entrance examination was taken- JEE MAIN.

The daily routine is usually hectic with strict attendance requirement of up to 85%. Quality and method of training are usually either contemporary or power point presentation based. Overall experience in college is rather boring yet devoid of distractions.

Course fee per year is very nominal. Course fee along with food bill per semester (INR 15000) gets me around INR 35000 per semester or INR 70,000 per annum. For B.Tech Biotechnology, you have to pay INR 25000 extra as it is a self-financed course of the university. Yearly merit scholarships of about INR 8000-15000 per annum are granted.

There are many societies on the college level:- Engineering and Technology society Science and Humanities society On university, national and international level:- Spicmacay Chetan NGO etc. Main festivals include- SPARDHA COLOSSEUM ACCOLADE LITHOSPHERE etc. Life in college is secluded.
