Placements are pretty good. Major companies are AMAZON , MICROSOFT, NOKIA, TATA, SAMSUNG, OLA , MHENDRA , HERO, L&T, ASHOK LEYLAND, etc.,avg package is >6 lpa , highest package is > 32lpa. Support of alumni is great
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels are the major part of this college. World class hostels are provided here with single room for each. Hostel fees are paid for every semester. Food is pretty good. mess fee paid along with college fee. Class rooms are some what old, but they are constricting new accadamic blocks which are centralised with a.c. Wi-Fi are provided . There is a lan ports in every hostel room.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibity criteria for admission in NIT Jamshedpur is One must complete their +2 education with minimum of 75% marks. We have to write JEE-MAIN exam as entrance test. The cut-off for the course changes with category you belong. For OC: >150 OBC:>130 SC:>90 ST:>80
Academics and Faculty
Daily routine of college is it starts from 8am and ends around 4to5 pm. But theirs will be some time gap between the college time. Hardly college for 5 hrs a day. Very good for learning. teaching staff is good. They provide good surrounding for learning. This is the college with very good quality of learning . Every student are unique in their work.
Fees and Scholarships
Fee for a course is INR 1.8 lacs per year Scholarships are provided the major scholarships are NSP etc., maximum no.of student gets scholarships of total strength. Loans can be taken through any banks which gives loans like sbi. In college itself has it's bank which provide loans.

There are clubs like innovation hubs. The festivals in campus are: Culfest , OJASS ,URJA TECHNICA

Entrance Exams & Admissions : It is one of the best NIT after NIT from south India. It has very good in placement. To get admission one has to clear JEE MAIN exam conducted by CBSE for graduation in engineering. One with rank up to INR.30000 can get admitted here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You must be qualified in JEE MAIN. Now in JEE MAIN not consider board marks so in opinion your marks will be more than 160 or JEE MAIN rank will be below 30k for gen and below 35k for OBC candidate
