VIT is known for it's placements. Almost all the leading IT companies visit VIT Vellore
VIT has blocks inside the campus itself for students. A to F Block is for girls and rest of the blocks are for boys. There are different types of mess available inside the hostel which includes Chinese, special, north Indian, south etc. Special mess costs around INR 68000 yearly. Hostel food is healthy but not tasty. VIT has the best library according to me. It is central AC and is fully digitalized in all aspects. It has many books and covers many languages
VIT university specifically has an entrance exam called VITEE. There are different categories through which we can enter this college. Higher the category more amount of fees. For category 1 tech information technology branch one should get around 7500 rank
The daily routine is simple and easy. Here we have Fully flexible credit system aka FFCS. We get to choose our own teacher and our own subjects and subject timing. This is one of the best parts of VIT. The quality of teaching is also good. Almost all the faculties are PhD and are always ready to help
My course fee is around Rs. 1,78,000 Scholarships are available for students who come from poor background. As well as there are scholarships for top 100 students and tuition fee waiver schemes.
