College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The college campus is spaced out in a very large area, roughly around 700 acres. There are around 15 hostels for boys and another 6 for girls. The semester fees for hostel and mess is around INR 25000. There is a mess of almost all cuisines and quality is decent.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
JEE Mains along with 12th board exam marks contributed to an all India rankings, which is the sole criteria for applying to this university. Generally, anything within AIR 3500 for general quota should be fine
Academics and Faculty
The class timings are pretty similar to other colleges, around 7:30 to 4 daily. There is some leisure time in between as well. The teaching is pretty good with great interaction with the professors. The overall experience is amazing
Fees and Scholarships
Fees are around INR 40000 for administration and another 25000 for hostels and mess per semester. This is around 70000 per semester. There are many scholarships, one of which is for the top 2000 ranked students in JEE Mains
Clubs and Associations
There are many students run societies and clubs in college, each for different interest groups, ranging from education like maths, coding, research to social groups like fsr, leap, etc. We have two main festivals, one cultural - festember and other technical- pragyan. The overall life in college is a wonderful experience which I would die to live over again

Placements & Internships : NIT has a vast and open range when it comes to placements. The companies that extend from IT organizations like Accenture etc to companies of the banking sector such as Bank of America, to core selective companies such as bosh, Suzuki. The average salary varies by the packages offered by different companies to the selected candidates.
