Google, Facebook, L&T, Oracle and many more companies come. The average salary for core companies is low about INR 7 or 8 lakhs per annum. But non-core companies give a bit more than this.
There are required a number of hostels available. Food is great there is a lot of options and different messes available.
Eligibility criteria for this course are 75% on your boards and must attend the JEE MAIN examination. Typical cutoffs for this course is above 13000 or 12000 according to 2017 statistics.
It's quite good. You will have a lot of time for extracurricular activities. Education is quite good and student friendly. Overall the college is good.
The course fee comes about 1 lakh INR for general category students, and as low as 1000 INR for SC/ST students. There are a lot of scholarship options available on the national scholarship portal. Many of the students get them quite easily but they need to be applied on time. As far as general category students are concerned not that much required as the fees is quite reasonable.
There are a lot of clubs and associations in NITC. Events take place almost every week. The tech fest happens in the odd semester called TATHVA. And the cultural fest happens in the even semester called RAGAM.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission process of NIT, Calicut like other national institutes in India are based on the ranks obtained through JEE Mains. Being one of the top NITs in the country, the closing ranks of the core courses such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science engineering are on the higher side. Students who've completed their matriculation abroad can also apply through the DASA scheme where 10% of the total seats in each branch are allocated to DASA applicants.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are two ways of getting admission in NITC One is the JEE Main, you need to have a decent rank in this exam to get in any of the core branches in NITC. The other is DASA Quota: in which a minimum percentile is reserved to the students studying outside based on their SAT quota
