- I did 3 internships and 3 projects at NIT Allahabad. The Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology provides you various opportunities for different kind of Internships and Projects.
I did my internships at IIT Delhi, Britannia Industries Ltd, and Ather Energy.
Projects run parallelly with academics and daily classes and the professors are very helpful in providing the students adequate time for their self-studies and project works too.- Brahmos DRDO, HUL, PSU's, Reliance, Flipkart, Amazon, Adobe, De Shaw, Maruti, Hero, Bajaj, etc are the major companies that visit our campus every year for the placement drive of the students.
- The average salary offered to students of Mechanical Engineering branch is about 6-7 lakhs per annum. Off campus placements are rarely required as the majority of the students get placed in companies visiting the campus.
- We also have a large number of alumni’s spread across the globe: US, UK, Australia, and European Union (EU). Every year, the alumni's of our college meet us at the Annual Alumni Meet where they share their experiences and lend their helping hands to us (the students).
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

- The quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi and other key infrastructure at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology: Excellent! Good quality classrooms with speakers for better audibility. Wifi is there in the campus and Library has internet access too! Great internet speeds (10Mbps direct downloading speed at night). Labs are in a good condition (except 1 or 2) and all the labs are having a strict schedule of experiments to be performed per semester.
- Commuting facilities (personal/public transport) within the campus, the city and neighbouring areas: Highly available and high frequency of buses, autorickshaws, etc. Every day, a bus from our college goes to Civil lines (market and recreational area for the students to refresh themselves) and other commuting facilities are also present within and outside the campus.
Note: Personal Motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited!
Academics and Faculty

- Academic daily routine schedule: Classes from 8 am to 6 pm each day. 2 tests per semester. 3 assignments per subject per semester. I also did 3 research Projects. Lab quizzes and MCQ based quizzes also take place for internal assessment. 75% attendance is compulsory. Strict actions are taken if the attendance of a student falls short of it in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
- Choice and relevance of available courses: All courses relevant to Industrial Applications for Mechanical Engineering.

8. Engineering thermodynamics. - Quality and methodology of teaching: Great! By NIT Professors and the department is NBA Accredited too. Use of physical models for demonstration and a better understanding of the theory. Industrial visits happen too for better exposure to industrial needs.
- Professor accessibility outside classes: Professors are readily available after the classes to get our doubts all cleared. Hence, a better understanding of the subject is possible.

2.UP Government Scholarship. (Rs.80,000)
3. OPJEMS Scholarship (Rs.60,000)
4. IET India Scholarships (Rs.1,00,000) - Approximately, 10%-20% of the students get these scholarships (including all types of scholarships).
- Availability of Bank loans and other financial aid options is one thing that really helps the financially weaker students to compete equally with other students of the college. Many types of education loans are available for students of the college. SBI bank has a specific education loan facility that it offers to the students here.
Clubs and Associations

- Professional Clubs, Cultural and Arts Clubs, Political and Social associations in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology: Many clubs are run by the students of the college. These include Computer club (Coding and Programming Competitions),Literary Club (for quizzes on different topics and domains), Photography Club (to inculcate the youth of the college with artistic skill and perception), Automobile Engineers Club (to teach the students some basic principles necessary for manufacturing and developing an automobile and explaining the functions of various parts and systems of an automobile), Robotics Club (Mechatronics Society). These clubs help the students to practice and learn in a better and more practical manner which helps in the mental growth and also improves their overall personality.
- Sports infrastructure and sports played on campus: Cricket, Basketball, Table tennis, tennis, Badminton, Squash and Kho Kho are some of the sports played by the students of the college. Our college recently won the Inter NIT Cricket Tournament too which shows that the students here are capable of balancing their studies along with the sports which keep them physically and mentally fit.
