Entrance Exams and Admissions
Thapar Institute of Engineering and technology was founded in 1956 with a campus spread across sprawling 250 acres. The eligibility criteria for the is the same, Graduating high school (+2), Qualifying JEE Mains. I took my jee examination in the year 2017 on the basis of which I got admitted for B tech course in their institute of engineering and technology.
- The typical cutoff:- For CS it was 125.
- For Electronics and communication engineering was 102.
- For Mechanical engineering was about 95.
- For Electrical Engineering was near to 90.
