Placements and Internships

2.5

  • I have not been in an internship
  • Mostly small scale companies come to my college for the internship that is mostly related to finance, marketing and sales. For placement, it is said that my big firms do visit for recruitment purposes
  • The packages revolve around 300000 to 50000 Rs
  • The college has people, networks and relations with many big firms which thus result in big prestige and goodwill of the college.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

  • There are no hostels as per I know.
  • The saraf institute consists of many colleges name it engineering, science, masters as well as primary and secondary school and high school altogether at one place. The price per type of education varies accordingly. For example, masters or pg here cost lakhs.
  • The food in the college is good but no Worth. For example, for the same 20 Rs, you can get better and more tea outside the college. Though this being a disadvantage it's has expanded from providing breakfasts to lunch to dinner as well as snacks.every product that is available outside is also available inside the college canteen.
  • There is no dining hall and there is no setup of wifi.the quality of the key infrastructure is great while they include classrooms, computer labs, libraries, auditoriums etc.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • The eligibility criteria were above 60% in commerce field. And the procedure included the fee payment and receiving the fee receipt and acquiring of college admission.
  • There is no entrance exam but you have to appear 12th or hsc boards and achieve above 60 to achieve admission criteria.
  • There were basically 4 lists. Out of which I was on the second list. These four lists range from 90(more or less) to 58.75%.

Academics and Faculty

4

  • My college starts from 7 am to 11 -11.30 am. Every exam starts from 7-7.30am but the duration may vary due to the marks I.e whether it is an interval that is 20 marks or an external that is 75 marks. It also depends on the number of pages to attempt per day.
  • The teaching staff never fails to leave their print on the students. It is the best teaching staff I have ever seen. They not only teach us the portion but also teaches us the external communication skills I.e ensures the students overall growth.
  • On the scale 1 to 10, I will scale the college overall experience by 9 as it is the best but needs work.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

  • I have no idea about the fees. It is about 30000 to 40000 per year.
  • There NCC I.e national scholarships, inter-college scholarships, special class scholarships etc available for the students
  • 6 to 10 students usually get the scholarships.
  • The college has a special tie-up with the bank of Baroda you can apply for the loan there.

Clubs and Associations

5

  • There are no students clubs, societies and associations on the campus as in such. The Class Representatives among the best of the class or batch. There is a non-government organization named the rotary club that you can apply for. There other services like the Ncc, the core event committee and the cultural event committee you can sign up for then if you are a Sarafian or a saraf student.
  • The main festivals here are managed commerce section and annual day managed high school section and volunteered by college section.
  • The college life here is great you can grow overall in your personality as you see and meet many different types of people. Learn different types of things, explore different of opportunities and enjoy different types of experiences.
