Placements and Internships
Companies that hire includes HP, TCS, CTS, DELLOITE, CAPGEMINI, and etc all are related to IT sector. Byju's and skyfy labs from the educational sector. Electronic Companies includes Johnson's control, Ericson, Zicom securities limited. Vastu vihar and many more are included for Civil. INR 2.8 lakh is the average with the highest package of up to 7 lakh per annum are offered here. 80% placement is done. The Alumni network is connected.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
2 hostels, 1 for boys and other for girls are there, a fee of INR 3500 is associated with the hostel. The PGs also cost around the same, with the abundance of room for rent. The food is of average quality offered at INR 40 per meal. Hi-tech classroom, labs are well equipped, the library is not up to much use, the dining hall is of average.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You must have the science background to pursue a B.Tech degree along with 60% and above marks in all Physics, Chemistry and Computer/Biology. I took the JEE MAIN a Joint entrance examination and was placed in this college through counseling. 60% is the cutoff for the science subjects, but sometimes the marks are lowered in accordance with the seats filled.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine is 55 minutes of each class, with a break of 5 minutes in between. Projects are provided to final year students with departmental mini projects for 3rd-year students. The teaching staff is very helpful and a new procedure is introduced called Flip Learning.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee is INR close to INR 1 lakh per annum. Not many scholarships schemes are available. 2 out of 100 covers the scholarship as an average. Depends on the financial condition if loans are needed, SBI and Allahabad bank provides the education loans.
Clubs and Associations
Music club, Engineering Modelling club, Art club, NCC club, Anti-ragging squad and much more are there. Tech fest and cultural fest are mandatory.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : JIS College of engineering is one of the top private engineering colleges in West Bengal. As JISCE is the main campus, this college boasts of proper infrastructure, competent faculty and good placement records. Support for research is available, in almost all departments. As a faculty of EE department, I feel honoured to be associated with this institution. The B.Tech. (EE) program of JIS College of Engineering has NBA Tier I accrediation.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I gave JELET exam. With a rank of 30(General Rank) I got admission to the college. Off course I took admission by passing through counciling. The cut off was has to get admission in JIS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is a bit tough if you are coming through an entrance exam. I have given WBJEE and my rank is 17721. Cut off changes as per rules of the college.
