I have completed my internship in an NGO. I have no idea about the key companies. Almost everyone who goes for placements gets placed.
There is just a boys hostel, most of the girls stay in PGs, annual pay is INR 450. The food in the college is not bad. Canteens offer healthy food. Foos per meal is INR 50 to INR 100. The classrooms are spacious and so are the libraries.
Admission was through an interview and followed by a written text. The cutoff for my course was 65%. I did not take any entrance exams.
The class timings are perfect. There are breaks and holistic assignments. The quality and method of teaching are great and as the method of teaching is not just through lectures only. My overall experience is amazing.
The course fee is INR 65,000. Scholarships are available for the minority. No, loans available.
There are a number of organizations on campus like SWO, CSA, ACC, poetry club, film club, art club and so on. The annual dance day(nritta), in bloom, blossoms, exodus, Jabberwocky, are some of the fests of each department. In just one word it is just amazing.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The course I opted for was a triple major in three respective subjects - Journalism, Psychology and English so that later I could pursue my Masters' in whichever direction suited my goals best. For entrance there was an interview in Kolkata where they asked me my interest towards the particular subjects concerned, and why I opted for Humanities when I was previously a Science student . They also wanted to know about whether I'd be comfortable migrating , and inquired me about my discplinary issues as well. There was no entrance examination, but the eligibility criteria required 70% in board exams of the 12th grade.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You need to be a 12th standard pass to be eligible for this course, and your grades need to be above a minimum of 60% (at least that was the cut off in 2012). There is no test involved, but there is an interview conducted by the faculty of your potential course. The interview is fairly typical and centers around gauging your personality, though there are a couple, of course, related questions.
