Average salary goes around INR 5 lakhs.The highest package can be INR 17 lakhs. About 95%students get placed each year from the university. Alumni network also works a lot.
There is one hostel for a boy and a girl and there is no food facility available. But you have to arrange from outside and also curfew timing for girls is very strict. Hostel fee per year is approx INR 35000 excluding food. There are various canteens in college and some of the canteens provide a very good meal which would cost around INR 70. There are a bunch of pgs near the college. Far only about a walk to the college. People generally prefer living in pgs and their cost is around INR 7000 for 3 sharing and INR 9000 for two and INR 15,000 for one sharing. Quality of classrooms is very good. They are very spacious and airy. Especially our department. Approx INR 4 crores are spent on the university library. And wifi is also fine.
Eligibility criteria were anybody who got 60%minimum in 12th boards can apply for the course and first of all there is a written test conducted in the various centers across the city and this is basically an aptitude test which consists of basic competition level questions and also few of the commerce related questions, after that there is a written test which tests your writing skills and basically topics asked are like what are the things you learnt from your school life, etc. After that, there is an interview where panelists would be asking you to talk about yourself and then there will be a micro presentation on any topic which is currently trending. After a conversation with the candidate. The process gets over and then after all this result comes out after a few days. I took entrance examination of Christ itself. There is no such cutoff but a minimum of percentage criteria is there and all depends on how you perform in the admission process.
The daily routine is very stiff. Class timings are 9:00 am-4:00 pm. There are various exams held in a semester and also a lot of burden of CIAs. Quality and method of teaching are very good. Well qualified professors are there.
Course fee per year is INR 82500. There is fee concession option given to needy students and no such scholarship is there.only the very needy person can be granted the full concession. Around 1000-2000 get the scholarship. Loans can be taken and are basically needed by financially weak students.
There are various clubs like finance club, CuCa club and entrepreneurs club Main festivals of christ are the ethnic day, sports-related festivals are also there. Life in college is very hectic. You would feel no less than a corporate pressure and there is no time for your personal life

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Cut-off for Bcom,B.com F&A and Bcom morning is announced after the declaration of 12th Board results. As the admission process of this course doesn't have any GD/PI, it is purely based on your 12th percentage. Last year, for CBSE board students, cut-off was 85% and for State Board- Kerela 96%, Karnataka 90%. For the Bcom Hons programme, one has to clear the Christ University Entrance Test(CUET) and then go through the interview process.
