Placements and Internships
Companies such as L&T, Ericsson, iGate etc come for recruitment. The highest package is INR 7 lakhs per annum. The average salary package for a student is INR 3.7 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels outside the campus for both boys and girls separate. The meal is average. There is Jio WiFi everywhere in the college. The college boasts an AC reading room and library. All labs are well equipped. Classrooms are well ventilated. The college Gymkhana and Canteen is on the top floor as usual.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria to get an admission is to pass 12th standard. I took JEE Mains entrance exam. About 80% is cutoff for mechanical branch.
Academics and Faculty
Quality of teaching is good. Teachers are well experienced and they are very supportive.
Fees and Scholarships
About INR 1 lakh per annum is the course fee. Scholarship for SC/ST, OBC, NT are available. Scholarships through EBC is also available. About 40% students apply for the scholarship. I don't know about loans.
Clubs and Associations
The college has events ranging from Technical to Cultural. Avalon is a technical event. Antarang is a cultural event. SporTEC is a sports event. The mechanical department has a MESA Club, an ISHRAE Chapter, and a SAEINDIA Club. The college life is always good.
