Placements and Internships
The college will send you for the internship in the foreign country also. Top companies come to recruit from the campus. Amazon, Google, Schlumberger, Reliance industries, Tata steel, Honda, Hero, Tata motors, maruti etc come for the campus placements and the average salary is INR 6 lakhs per annum. Approx 85% of the batch get placed every year. The Alumni network is strong.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is 1 hostel in Jadavpur, 1 in saltlake campus. The hostel fee is very less INR 1,900 per month with food and living. Classroom, Labs, canteens are good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Crack WBJEE and rank between 100-550 to get eligible for the admission and pass 12th board with at least 70%-75%.
Academics and Faculty
The college timings are 10:20 am to 5:15 pm. The method of teaching is excellent.
Fees and Scholarships
As it is govt college so the fee is very less, approx INR 2,500 per annum, Semester fee is only INR 85 per annum. The scholarships are available for lower caste students and financially poor candidates. The loans are not needed as the fee is very less.
Clubs and Associations
There are so many clubs and associations, like photography club, mountaineering club etc. Viswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, Durga Puja, Yearly fest, functions everything is celebrated here. College life is awesome.

Academics & Faculty : My college is one of the best academic institution situated at the heart of Kolkata metropolis. It's academic as well as research fields are rated among the top institutions in India. The college usually starts at 10:20 a.m. and each theoretical period is of 45 minutes. Sessional periods are usually long and stretch upto two and a half hourss. My college provides ample amount of research facilities to undergraduate students. Infact, the number of publication in reputed journals and conferences exceeds some of well known IITs and NITs. Students are also encouraged to take up projects works. For examination we have two class test in a semester and a final exam. The teaching faculty is one of the best in the country with teachers having qualifications from both India and abroad.
