Nrujal Sharma's Review on L D College of Engineering

Companies such as Accenture, TCS, Wipro are some of the companies which come for campus placement in the college. The average salary largely depends on the branch of engineering from which one belongs but the normal range is INR 3 to INR 5 lakh per annum.

The college has separate boys and girls hostels. There are in total 5 hostel blocks present in the college premises. The yearly fee is around 2000 INR exclusive of the mess. PG and a government hostel which is at a walking distance from the college are also options. The food provided in the mess is above average. Unlimited lunch and dinner cost 30 INR each. The infrastructure, though is quite old but is still well equipped with required assets such as projectors and others. There are newly constructed seminar halls in each of the 14 departments in the college well-equipped with AC, projectors, microphone system etc. 

LDCE is one of the top 10 colleges of Gujarat. One can get admission in LDCE via ACPC Gujarat. One must have passed 12th exams from any recognized education board. Normally the cut-offs are fairly high as it is a very reputed college but the cut-offs mainly depend on the branch. 

The class timings are from 10:45 A.M to 5:30 P.M. Two exams per semester are conducted. The quality of the faculty is worth praising. Highly qualified professors are hired by the college.

Being a government college the fees are just nominal. The fees per annum in 2017-18 was only 2300 INR. No scholarships are provided by the college, but one can always opt for other external scholarships. No loans needed at all.

There are a lot of clubs active in the college. They consist of NSS, NCC, INNOVATOR, Speaker's Club, ROBOCON etc. Yearly techfest Lakshya, state level art and literature fest Sahitya Sarita, LDCE sports fest are some of the festivals celebrated in the college.
