A person must have passed 12th class with an aggregate of 60 percent. The person should be medically fit as per DG (director general) of shipping. A person also has to write IMUCET entrance exam. IMUCET cutoff was 60% as PCM aggregate.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

Candidate should be 12th passed with a minimum of 60% and PCM 60%. Admission is done through IMU CET, a national level eligibility test conducted by the university itself.
ranks are considered as a cut off during counseling.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

no such internship but trainings are done in imu kolkata and imu cochin withount any stipend.
maersk line, fleet ship management, seateam, mitsui OSK Line,
during trainning average salary $600 and as 4th engineer average $2000, 25% of batch on average get placed.
new college so no such alumni network.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

2.25 lacs per annum is the fee exclusive of exm fee.
no scholarship from college unless provided by state government.
no idea if they get from state government.
loans are surely needed...
