There wasn't any entrance exam for the admission, it was purely based on merit. The cut-offs are really high compared to other du colleges.
Placements & Internships : The placements season for our batch was unparalleled. About 80 percent of the students, who sat for placements, got placed. The highest package was of INR 29 lakhs per annum which was also the highest package in the University of Delhi. The lowest was about INR 2.4 lakhs per annum. The average package was INR 6.4 lakhs of annum. The companies that visited campus included Parthenon, McKinsey & Co., BCG, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Grofers, Vmock, Citi, etc. The roles that were offered ranged from that of an analyst, consultant, data analyst, etc.
Placements & Internships : The placement cell is professionally executed. However, the placement process is restrictive and biased in the sense that students are categorised and made to sit for placements based on their discipline, not interests and abilities. Like only corporates come for economics and commerce, completely neglecting the fact that students of these disciplines might be interested in other fields too, fields as variable as wildlife protection, editing, journalism, etc.
