I did my internship in Indian railways. I really liked the way faculties teaches us.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 20 hostels on the campus and Hostel charges are INR 30,000 per semester. The college is located in outskirts so the food in here is average.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I got admission in this college through JEE MAIN entrance exam which is considered as the toughest exam of India.
Academics and Faculty
The classes start at 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. It excellent how the professor teaches in this college. It was really a nice experience in IIT Kharagpur.
Fees and Scholarships
My course fee was around INR 50,000 per semester. There were several scholarships schemes and around 1000 people got scholarship.No loans needed.
Clubs and Associations
There are so many societies exist in the college. Diwali and Durga pooja are the main festivals celebrated in the college. Life in here is awesome.

Academics & Faculty : Like all IIT's, IIT Kharagpur is a great place to study if you are an engineering aspirant. Most of the professors have completed their higher education abroad, and they have immense knowledge about their field of study. Some professors might not be good at conveying that knowledge but with a little effort and determination, great interests can be developed. Classes are scheduled between 8 A.M to 6 P.M 5 days a week. With 25 to 30 hours of classes per week, you have ample time for yourself. Here at IIT Kgp we have semesterly system with two exam every semester. Assignment and projects are given regularly in most of the cources. People don't usually stick only to their departmental cources, they extend their options by taking additional cources from other department.
