Classes are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Projects and assignments are given every month. The teaching method is done by both practical and theoretical. Quality is good.

I have done the internship at Indian smelting and refine ingredients corporations, pune. The stipend is INR 5,000 for 45 days. Companies like L & T, simplex, Genpact, ICICI Bank etc come for the placements. INR 1.8 lakhs per annum is average salary package and highest salary package is INR 3 lakhs per annum. Alumni's are Good and supportive.

There are 4 hostels of government and that is low fees and 3 hostels that are private and it has a moderate fee structure. There are paying guests nearby college. Two college canteens are there. Good and well-furnished classrooms.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Academics are good.They teach most of the classes and make us do practicals on regular basis.I am In Ist year and satisfied with the faculty.The classrooms are normal as you find in schools and there is no special facilities like AC,projectors or marker board.The strength varies around 60-70 per classroom.Assignments are given on regular basis.Some professors are OK and some are good and will clear your doubts outside classes.Most of faculty are well qualified ie. Ph.D,M.tech,M.A.(Commutative English) which reflects in their teaching methodology while some guest faculties are there which degrades level of teaching.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: International exposure sounds difficult here.Some of our professor talks about their research paper published in International journal.To be honest,I hardly heard from senior about any International company visiting the campus.I heared only about TCS which is Indian company and visits regularly inside campus.Language of teaching is English but for lit...

  • There is average placement at my college. Big companies like TCS,HCL,BOSCH and many more visited last year in our campus.
  • Our total course fees is Rs 70000 per year.
  • Many scholarships option are available like Rajpms,Sumedha,NCC scholarships.
  • Professors are good. Professors ellaborate everything while teaching the topics. Thus, teaching method is descriptive
  • College has very good infrastructure. Best infrastructure in Rajasthan among all the government engineering college.
  • Student Activity Center(SAC) is the biggest club in our college which covers all the student activities. Many small clubs are there like IHT,AAKRITI.

  • GCET is an engineering like others and eligibility for admission is 12th in science, maths having mark sheet of RPET exam with rank in 500th position then you can get an admission here.
  • The procedure is simple but the cut off range change every year.
  • Till now there is no internship but companies like SANMAX and CORETECH( IT company) hire students from Govt. College of engineering and technology.
  • The salary package starts from Rs. 2.8 lakhs to Rs. 5.4 lakhs depends on students ability.
  • The alumni network is not good comparing to other colleges.
  • The course fees in Govt. College of engineering and technology is Rs. 75,000 per year for every student from any stream and scholarship is available for those students who came in SC/ST by there cast and every 10-15 students get this scholarship.&...
