TMI has a 100% placement record for those who complete the course in 4 years. Biggest companies in the industry come for campus placements which start in 2nd year itself.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are three hostels in a residential area with all the sports facilities like tennis, cricket, football, squash, badminton, etc. The classrooms have AC and a projector.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
To get admission here candidate must first apply for IMUCET and TMISAT and appear for an interview. Based on the performance, he/she will be selected for medical and on being declared fit, he will be selected.
Academics and Faculty
It is a training institute, the hostel is compulsory, and the daily routine starts at 6:00 am with morning PT. after that academic hours start from 8:30 am, till 4:40 pm. The quality of teaching is very good.
Fees and Scholarships
Fees are around INR 18 lakh for the 4-year course. The internship is compulsory.

There are 8 to 10 clubs in college like adventure, cookery, etc which conduct regular meetings and events.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : It's a four-year bachelors in technology course in marine engineering. You must have completed your 10+2 with maths ( from any board ) Eligibility criteria is that you have to give IMU CET exam. On the basis of the rank you got in the exam along with the personal interview conducted by the college you will be given a chance for admission. No such cut off is there, totally based on the rankings and interview You have to be medically fit for this course because it provides an onboard ship training.
