Nidhi Kesarkar's Review on H.R. College of Commerce and Economics

H.R. has a strong alumni network, A number of Bollywood stars including Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Darsheel safari are from here. Industrialist and tycoon Kumar Mangalam Birla was from H.R. HR has a good placement record with industries most renowned companies picking up the best of students. The average packages are around INR 5 to INR 6 Lakh per annum. HR offers various internships through its placement cell every year.

There is no hostel facility in the college. PGs are available near to college campus. As the college is located in south mumbai, the rent is comparatively higher than other areas in the city. You can expect rent from anywhere around INR 15,00 to INR 14,000 per month. The college has its own canteen and the cost of food is not much. 

H.R. College is one of the prestigious colleges of Mumbai. The admissions criteria for Bachelors degree is to have a high school degree with minimum passing marks. The usual cut off for every degree college course ranges from 80-90%

The college is very friendly with class schedules and timings. The quality of education is top class. The overall college experience is awesome. 

Courses fee for general category students mostly ranges from INR 17,000 to INR 20,000 per year. And the reserve category students pay depending upon their caste. Around 13 to 15 students every year obtain various scholarships.

HR has numerous clubs and committees for every student. The student's council, Investment Club, Enactus HR, sync, choice, Gems, Research cell, Internationals programmes committee, placement cell, Marathi club, public speaking and debating society, young leaders club. The most famous festivals around the year are Numero Uno, Blaze, Bull's eye, The skill series, Decidium.
