Sriranjani K P's Review on VIT University, [VIT] Vellore

I have not done my internship. Over 400 recruiters from core engineering and Software companies visit every year. Companies include Adobe system, Wipro, Axis Bank, Capgemini, Cisco, Cognizant, Dell, Delloite, and City Bank. Average package is INR 3 lakh and the highest is around INR 39.12 lakh per annum.

Total 17 boys hostel blocks and 6 girls hostels blocks are there on the campuses. Fees depends upon type of room one has selected during room counselling. PGs are available with a charges of INR 3,000 per month.

 A student should have passed with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum of 70% overall aggregate in Higher Secondary examination conducted by State or Central Board of Secondary or its equivalent examination. Candidates will be called for the counselling on their merit based as the aggregate of total marks secured in the 12th higher secondary examination. The result are  published on VIT website. There was no entrance examination conducted for this course. 

Daily routine is from 8 am to 1 pm. Assignment and project are completed on time. Faculties uses smart boards and powerpoint presentation for teaching purposes.

My course fee is INR 45,000 per annum. VIT University is offering scholarship programs to upto 1,000 VITEEE rank holders under “GV School Development Programme” (GVSDP). As per the information released on the official website of VIT University, upto 1000 rank holders will be awarded the scholarship of INR 50,000 for all the four years. On the other hand, the rank holder’s upto 10,001 to 20,000 will be offered INR 25000 as scholarship for all the four years. There are banks which provide loans to students. 

Riviera and Gravitas are the main festivals on the campuses.
