Placements and Internships

2

I have not done any internship till now. The placement cell is very active as they keep updating the students about new internships opportunities. The average package for students placed as per last year informed by a senior is around INR 50,000 per month. The alumni network of this institute is very good. The department does not conduct any proper placement and hence it is very difficult to get a placement from here.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility is provided by the University itself. The rooms are very small and are available in two sharing with common washrooms. The food costs around INR 35 per meal. We are having a fully equipped library.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

A student should have a minimum of 45% marks in his/her 12th Board. The entrance exam for this course is conducted by the Department/University itself of and has the negative marking of -0.25 for every wrong and +1 for every correct answer given in a questionnaire of 100 questions. The cut off pattern is a bit difficult to understand but there is a ranking system instead of the cut-offs system where 50% of the marks scored in 12th boards and 50% of marks secured in the entrance test are added with extra weightages from NSS or other such activities. Course-specific weightages were awarded to B.Com and LL.B aspirants up to 8 marks who had done commerce as a background in their 12th Board with subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, English and maths (optional).

Academics and Faculty

3

The official college timings are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The quality and method of teaching are exceptional and the teachers are well aware of the syllabus. The overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarships

2

My course fee is INR 1 lakh. The Scholarships and fee relaxations are there for the students with the weak financial background. Loans are can be covered

Clubs and Associations

3.5

Clubs and societies are there such as literary society, career development cell, and cultural community etc. Intra moot competitions are main events on the campuses.
