Placement is good for the college. But one must clear the interview. And must gain all the knowledge of shipping. Salary depends upon the ranks. The average salary is INR 5 lacks per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are three hostels in the campus. One girl and two for boys. Food is also good and healthy. Classrooms are perfect, labs and library are full of machinery and books respectively.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Graduate marine engineering is a pre-sea course training programme. This can be done by doing b. Tech from mechanical engineering with 60% marks and in matriculation or intermediate English needs 60% marks.
Academics and Faculty
The classes start at morning 5 am till 4 pm. Faculty also capable and they also worked as engineering posts in shipping. Overall faculty is good. Method is very good.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 3 lacks per year. No scholarship in this college. Loans are needed and can be opted from various kinds of reputed banks.
Clubs and Associations
Students perform many events like Diwali, Holi, Pongal, Independence day, Republic day Christmas etc. Life in college is good.
