Placements and Internships

4

There are no direct offers for internships prior to final year placements. IT companies are more prominent due to proximity to IT hub: Bangalore, but almost all major firms: Schneider Electric, GM, ABB, Honda Motors, Morgan-Stanley, Mathworks, Intel, SAP, etc. recruit from here. But do expect a lot of competition, for the same.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

It is good overall, but hostel room allotment is based on your academic performance, and the rooms, under the same umbrella ( e.g. 1-bedded AC), may differ from hostel to hostel, and sometimes within the same hostel itself.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria are clear VITEEE examination with good ranks. I have no idea about the cutoffs.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Daily routine varies from person to person here. Class timings are from 8 am to 1 pm. Quality varies, but there are certain faculty members in almost every department which put their effort in making the subject relevant and interesting to the student, but they are a few in number.

Fees and Scholarships

3

Refer website for the fee and scholarship details, it varies with programs and yearly, the base tuition fee being the same to that of the academic year you enrolled. (A tuition fee hike, for next year, would not mean the hike will be applicable to the student already enrolled in B.Tech programmes, a year before, or earlier).

Clubs and Associations

4

There are Creation Labs, Automobile teams (Pravega, Kshatriya, etc) are standouts; standard chapters affiliated with IETE, IEEE, etc are also there, along with Toastmasters' various clubs, debate societies, NGO affiliated clubs, drama societies, clubs based on themes like entrepreneurship, and many others, which are active in their capability to deliver. Main festivals: Gravitas (Technical), and Riviera (Cultural).

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You need to get into first 100000 ranks in VITEEE(entrance exam conducted by VIT) and depends on your rank and choice of course. There will be some groups like group 1,2,3 etc. Your fee will be decided by those groups.
