Placements and Internships

No doubt that KIIT is doing quite good in placements, till now there are more than 95% of the students got placed. CS and IT branches are ahead in that which are then followed by the whole electronics branch and electrical, mechanical and civil branch as well. Reputed companies come here, some of them also provide internships and pre-placement offer which all are beneficial to the students. The average package is INR 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum. Highest packages went to around INR 15 lakh to 16 lakhs per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

Infrastructure is very good. There are around 10 to 13 boys hostel, 3 to 4 girls hostel. All the hostels are good, the fee of ist semester is around INR 15,000 for non AC, for A.C it is around 25,000 and both are equipped with wifi facility. Food is above of average and it costs around INR 17,000 per semester. Classrooms are very good with full air conditioning.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

There is only one entrance exam KIITEE which is conducted by KIIT University itself. You have to pay nothing to fill up the form. Rank which you scored in the exam according to that you will be allotted the dates of your counseling, from where you can follow the counseling procedure and seats already being allotted to all other students. If you score good rank or within 10,000 then you can get 1st counseling date and you can easily choose your branch according to your choice.

Classes routines are divided into two shifts. The 1st shift starts at 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The second shift starts at 3:00 pm to 6:30 PM, you can have classes within these two timings. Teaching quality is good. My overall experience is quite good.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

Fees of this University is a bit high. For the batch of 2015-19 B.tech courses, fees are INR 2 lakh per annum (excluding hostel and mess charge). The loan is available and you can cover it from any banks. Talking about scholarship only top 1000 rankers, who scored under 1000 rank in entrance exam can get the scholarship

There are many societies on the campuses here, you can also do social work here. There is also an NCC group. College also celebrates festivals like Saraswati puja, Lohri, Christmas and many more. Overall life is quite good here.
