I did an internship at Air India, Kolkata. Many IT, manufacturing , marketing and sales companies come for placements. The average salary is INR 3 LPA and the highest salary is INR 20 LPA and around 70% students get placed .
There are 20 hostel blocks for boys and 4 hostel blocks for girls and the hostel fee is around INR 90,000 per year. There are many PG's available with minimal cost. Food in college is okay and costs around INR 50 per meal. Smart classrooms are available with many labs and equipments. There is Wi-Fi available.
The eligibility criteria is 60% in higher secondary or any equivalent and should have given the VITEEE exam.
It is an FFCS system where students can set their own routine. Class rooms are well equipped and the teachers are well - experienced. The college is very good.
The course fee is around INR 2.5 LPA and top 30 students based on academics get scholarship. There are also scholarships for students with low income. Loans are easily available.
There are many clubs,societies and associations in VIT and you can join any number of them. Gravitas,Riviera are the main cultural and tech festivals. The life in college is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is based on marks we scored in our 12th grade. There is no entrance examination for my course. The cutoffs are usually above 75% in our 12th grade.

The prescribed entrance exam called VITEEE must be given in order to be eligible for admission. Typically almost 120 can be the cutoff for admission to Electrical Engineering this year.
