Placements and Internships

About 55 to 60 IT companies come to Vardhaman college to hire the students. Average salary package would be INR 3.5 lakh. The highest package is offered by Amazon, which is about INR 13 lakhs per annum. About 70 to 80 percentage of the students get placed every year from Vardhaman college of engineering. I really feel proud to be a student of Vardhaman college of engineering.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

The students of Vardhaman college of engineering can proudly speak about the facilities provided to us in the college. We do have hostel facility which provides the friendly environment and a tight security to the students as well. When we come to food point of view we can proudly say that food served in the college canteen and hostel are far better (the best actually) when compared to other colleges. They provide different varieties of dishes to the students at reasonable rates. It costs around 40 to 60 rupees per meal in the canteen. Surroundings are kept very clean. Quality of food, classrooms, labs, library etc is always up to the mark.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

A student has to write and qualify the AP EAMCET entrance exams. I got a seat in information technology (IT) based on my AP EAMCET performances. Cut-offs vary from one batch to another, however, cut-offs for our batch in the year 2015 was 22,000.

Academics and Faculty

5

Our college starts at 9:40 am to at 4:30 pm. Each lecture lasts for 50 minutes. We do have exams, assignments and projects which are getting done regularly. The quality of teaching is very good. Methods of teaching and quality of faculties are very good. The overall experience in college is very good and satisfactory.

Fees and Scholarships

5

The course fee is INR 77,000 per annum and is for those students who have enrolled in 2015 batch. Scholarship options are available for students. Average number of students who get scholarship are almost 50 to 55 Percentage.

Clubs and Associations

5

There are many student clubs like TAIT is one of them on the campuses. The main festivals on campuses are ortus, and technolites . Life in Vardhaman college of engineering is very good and in academics it is too strict, they don't tolerate miss behavior such as carrying mobile phones, roaming around the college during class hours etc. But we can conclude that our college is a college with strict rules and regulations which could be really helpful.
